For a dragon, I like Donta, Dontus, or Orthos. You know, tooth, fang.
thunder- thor (Norse god of thunder) or Static (for obvious reasons)
grass- botanica
steel- bionis
fighting- etarak (karate backwards)
psychic- Jean (Jean Grey, the psychic on X-men), Kesin (kinesis), or Xavier (the other, more powerful psychic on X-men)
ground- gaia or geo
Anyone have a nickname for Mewtwo?
EDIT: Please don't double-post; take advantage of the edit/delete feature.

My Mewtwo's nickname is Tetsuo. If you don't get it, rent the anime Akira...

papersun, other possibilities could be:
Perazor (Perach - flower + dinozor - dinosaur)
Geffen (vine in hebrew)
Noga (the planet Venus in hebrew)
Just the first things that came to mind. Tell me what you chose to use in the end.

I went with Midori (Japanese for "green") because I liked the sound of it. Geffen was a close second.
Thanks!

I did mine based from themes.
Yellow (Trainer name: Joey)

Diana (After my sister ^)
Queenypoo (looked purple in stadium 1 and 2 with green )
Erin (After my cousin... unfortunately it turned out to be a guy.)
Gold (Trainer name: Harry P.)
example names:
Harry Potter (Because it was my first.)
Griffindor (Did I spell that right?)
Slytherin
Ravenclaw
Hufflepuff (For mainly the 'puff' part.)
Draco Malfoy

Mystic Tomato (Star thinks this name is cute for igglybuff. She came up with the idea.)
1000 Dragon
Rare Fish
Barrel Rock
Garoozis
Slifer
Rogue Doll
Seiyaryu
Mystic Elf
If I get FireRed I'll name my pokemon after Final Fantasy characters, monsters, aeons, weapons, armor and whatnot.
